Nearly two weeks into free agency, and the Panthers have yet to depart from the Dollar Store parking lot. With much of their offseason cap space being committed to keeping their own players from a team which finished the season 8-9-1, the coffer is leaking loose change. Gettleman has shown a propensity to locate values on the open market, but with a dwindling pool and less bait to lure prospective players in, the shopping spree at Target may just have to wait one more offseason.
